Our Faith

What We Believe — Rooted in Scripture, United in Christ

What We Believe

Our faith is anchored in the historic Christian truths revealed in the Bible, the inspired and authoritative Word of God.

The Holy Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully God, equal in power and glory, perfectly united in purpose and love.

The Authority of Scripture

We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible Word of God, the supreme authority for all matters of faith, doctrine, and daily living. It reveals God's character, His plan of salvation, and His will for humanity.

Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe that salvation is a free gift of God, not earned by human effort, but received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death on the cross and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for our sins and offers eternal life to all who trust in Him.

Believer's Baptism by Immersion

We practice believer's baptism by immersion as an outward expression of an inward transformation. Baptism is a public declaration of faith, symbolizing the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

The Church

We believe the local church is a body of baptized believers, voluntarily joined together for worship, fellowship, instruction, and service. Each local congregation is autonomous under the lordship of Jesus Christ, governed by its members under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ in power and glory. This blessed hope inspires us to live faithfully, share the Gospel urgently, and serve our neighbours with love and compassion as we await His coming.

The Baptist Distinctives

These core principles have defined Baptist churches for centuries and continue to shape our identity and practice today.

💧

Believer's Baptism

Baptism is reserved for those who have made a personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ, administered by full immersion in water.

🕊️

Soul Liberty

Every individual has the right and responsibility to relate to God directly without the imposition of creeds, clergy, or government authority in matters of faith.

📖

Bible as Sole Authority

The Bible is the only rule and guide for faith and practice. We hold Scripture as sufficient for all instruction in righteousness and godly living.

🍞

Two Ordinances

We observe two ordinances commanded by Christ: Baptism (for believers) and the Lord's Supper (communion), as acts of obedience and remembrance.

👥

Regenerate Membership

Church membership is composed of those who have personally accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and have been baptized upon their confession of faith.

🏛️

Local Church Autonomy

Each Baptist congregation is self-governing under the lordship of Christ. We cooperate with other churches voluntarily for missions and fellowship but maintain local independence.

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is the heartbeat of our church. It is through prayer that we draw near to God, seek His guidance, and find strength for each day. We believe that God hears the prayers of His people and responds with faithfulness and love. Whether in our corporate gatherings, small group meetings, or private devotions, we are committed to being a praying church — lifting up one another, our community, and the world before the throne of grace. If you have a prayer request, we invite you to share it with us through our contact page.
